DATA ANALYTICS

InnoProbe Insight offers comprehensive analytic capabilities to fully reveal the stories in your data. A core set of project management and analytical capabilities are available to you to help you explain consumer behavior and underlying trends.

As experts in survey research and data analysis, we are typically involved with clients from the very beginning. Yet, in other situations, we are asked to conduct an analysis of a study that we neither designed nor performed data collection. This sometimes occurs because survey design, and even programming, are discrete tasks that can be completed by competent individuals. Analysis and interpretation, on the other hand, are higher-level skills that require significant time.

InnoProbe Insight offers comprehensive analytic capabilities to fully reveal the stories in your data. A core set of project management and analytical capabilities are available to you to help you explain consumer behavior and underlying trends.

Transactional Data

Sales and transactional data can provide a useful window into the buying habits of your customers. Interactions between categories, brands, and SKUs provide opportunities for effective marketing and communication as well as promotional activity. As well, understanding the sensitivity of different products to variations in media delivery is especially useful for assessing return on advertising spend, or ROAS. When we say “transactional” we mean multiple transactions by the same customer over time. This also means that the customer has an ongoing, longitudinal relationship with you and your business. This means that customer behavior can be analyzed over multiple store visits or orders in the case of e-commerce and analyzed for patterns that could be useful for identifying new product opportunities or ways to make the customer’s buying experience more beneficial. All of these provide avenues for improving the sales of specific products in specific categories, promotional support, and activity, as well as merchandising insights. If you have sales or transactional data and want to better understand the implications of that data for your business, we can help. There may be a significant amount of effort required in order to get your data into a form that is usable for analysis, but it can and has been done. InnoProbe Insight has the expertise to make your sales and transactional data come alive. There is a tremendous amount of untapped value in your data that we can shine a light on and leverage more effectively. Call us to discuss your customer data analysis needs.

Statistical Analysis

The number of statistical analysis and visualization tools has exploded, yet there are a core set of capabilities that can be used in many situations to help explain consumer behavior and trends. InnoProbe utilizes many tools to assess consumer and B2B/industrial marketing research data, or sales data. We advise clients to design wisely, as the usefulness of any statistical method hinges on data quality and underlying assumptions. Our expertise includes: Analysis of Covariance: to adjust for the effects of other variables and permit analysis of variance to be used effectively. Analysis of Variance: to decompose variance into variance attributable to the effects of specific variables. Cluster Analysis: to form homogeneous groups (e.g., people, brands, markets). Canonical Correlations: to measure in precise quantitative terms the relationship between two sets of variables. Conjoint Analysis: to measure the importance of benefits or attributes, overall and for individual respondents. Discriminant Analysis: to classify people or objects into pre-defined groups. Factor Analysis: to reduce a set of inter-correlated items to a smaller set of independent items and underlying structure. Perceptual Mapping: to obtain a simplified picture of perceptions of brands and images. Regression Analysis: to measure the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables. Consider discussing the details of your project with us before zeroing in on a specific technique (which may or may not be appropriate). This will maximize your overall research investment. These techniques can be used in combination with many of the other designs described elsewhere on our website. InnoProbe has the expertise to utilize all of these tools. Call us to discuss your specific data analysis needs, and we can recommend the approach that is best suited for your marketing decision.
